I was born and raised in St Austell in Cornwall. I am very proud to be Cornish (as the tattoo on my right arm confirms) and can never imagine wanting to live anywhere else.
Although I haven’t moved very far (I can actually walk to every house I have ever lived in within a few minutes of our current home) I have had the opportunity to travel to many countries and love experiencing new places, cultures and meeting people.
In 1986 I made the best decision I have ever made and married Anne. She is still my best friend and a very important part of who I am.
We have three boys (all now teenagers) and two dogs.
We love life and try to cram as much into it as we can. I love to cook (people tell me I am quite good at it) and we love entertaining. We love a glass (or two) of good wine – Life is too short to drink bad wine!
One of the best things about living here is being so close to the sea – we can see it from our bedroom window. You will find us on, in or beside the sea as often as possible. We love nothing better than heading out in our boat to a remote beach and spending the day with friends fishing, barbequing on the beach and generally messing about on the water.
